The 10th World Ranger Congress is occurring this year, to be held in Hyeres, France between 7-11 October 2024. This event is hosted by the International Rangers Federation and Gardes Nature de France. This event will focus on contributions of the ranger profession to achieve targets from the Global Biodiversity Framework (safeguarding the world’s biodiversity by 2030).

Location is in Hyeres, a cloastal archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. Its the oldest National Park in France and the first EU protected marine park.

The Queensland Ranger Association will be sponsoring delegates and one member from our committee, and some self-funded delegates, travelling in a contingency to take part in the networking, biodiversity and ranger profession discussions.
