Currawinya Muster

It all begins with an idea. Take our annual event out to one of the remotest, semi-arid National Parks in Queensland. Remote in distance but not in quality. Currawinya is home to red sandplains, mulga scrub and is one of Australia’s most important inland waterbird habitats - being a Ramsar-listed internationally important site.

Currawinya National Park is on Budjiti Country with an expanse of cultural heritage, history and archaeological, traditional and contemporary values.

Currawinya is also home to numerous threatened species, the most iconic being the bilby!

Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime Muster - as rangers and officers from throughout Queensland come together to experience Currawinya NP.
