Join the QRA

Rangers and conservation professionals who join the Queensland Ranger Association (QRA) benefit from the support, camaraderie and knowledge of their peers.

The more members the QRA has, the stronger it becomes—for you and for all rangers.

Who can join

The QRA welcomes past and present employees of Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service & Partnerships (QPWS&P) and employees of First Nations land management organisations.

Our organisation supports people working to protect Queensland’s wildlife and natural areas, including rangers, land and sea rangers, wildlife officers and conservation specialists.

We actively encourage First Nations land management organisations and First Nations rangers to join. We’re committed to maintaining culturally safe environments and welcome feedback that helps us ensure everyone feels valued and respected.

The QRA offers group membership rates to First Nations Corporations and Land Trusts that employ rangers.

How to join

  • Complete the membership form and return it to info@queenslandranger.org. Fees can be paid by bank transfer or if you are a Queensland Government employee via payroll deduction.

  • Once payment is received, we’ll send you a welcome pack and member pin. You’ll also get access to the private QRA Facebook group and the QRA Teams channel.

  • Log in to the members-only page of the QRA website and access the latest news, resources, grants and professional development opportunities.
